Overall: 10 stars. The product works (most important), and the customer service is fantastic (also important).
Pros: I use this software on Amazon Accounts ranging from $2000 in sales per month to $500,000 in PPC sales per month, and it crashes, every single time. I’ve been an Amazon consultant for ~3.5 years, and this is the first software I’ve come across that automates the work that I do, in an actual intelligent way. Value for money is great. My only critique is that if you’re trying to get an “all in one” piece of software, this might not be perfect… yet! They are very public about their feature road map, which is another thing I love. Plus their customer service is fantastic. Much better than 90% of the software I’ve ever tried for Amazon.
Cons: Fewer features than some of the super expensive guys, but all the core stuff is there.
2. SpyFu
SpyFu has a whole suite of PPC tools that you can use to boost your paid campaigns. From providing keyword suggestions to spying on your competitors’ ad activity, you can do it all.
- Its smart recommendations drive clicks to your SEO or Google Ads campaigns.

- Reliable contact info helps you build partnerships or generate sales leads.
Review: Capterra
Overall: In terms of helping to give SEO clients an edge it’s a great tool, and its lead gen capabilities are excellent as well. It’s a ‘stay in the toolbox’ software when I have trialed and tried out many more that have long since been retired.
Pros: The volume of information that can gathered. Not only can you track competitor keywords but it’s an excellent prospecting tool for lead gen, which is a lesser-known aspect of the software. The relative ease of use is another bonus, the reports and dashboards are a lot clearer and easier to use than many of the other SEO tools I use/have used.
Cons: It’s a bit pricey, but it has proved itself in terms of ROI from both improved SERPS positioning and lead generation. Customer service could be a little better too.
3. Google Ads Editor
With Google Ads Editor, you can search and replace text, move items and undo or redo changes across multiple campaigns.

Review: Capterra
Overall: I use bing when I need a video search done or when I am scanning the news and it has been a very convenient experience for me.
Pros: In the end many people will question why use Bing search mostly because of Google’s dominance. The major advantage you have is the visual elements bing uses to bring context to the search. If I want to find a documentary, a picture will be added to add the proper context. Believe it or not bing search is a way better place to find videos on a search engine. Also bing gives you reward points for searching, while prizes vary on your interest I imagine a 5 dollar gift card for something for a weeks worth of search is not a bad deal.
Cons: Overall google is still a better search engine when it comes to information that is more obscure. There is tons of legitimate information on the “backapages” of the internet that Google allows you to get to if you know where to look that bing does not have. If you image search Pluto, you might get higher quality pictures but you might get more planets on google then bing. You have to more specific with what you search on bing.

What do you like best?
I searched high and low for a tool that could help me provide beautiful reports that could connect multiple tools into an appealing report that didn’t just look like a data dump. I am in love with not just the reporting capabilities of this tool but the superpowers it gives me & my team by being able to analyze deeper than other individual tools. In addition, the scripts are fantastic as they help our team leverage automation to alert us on issues that we would have never feasibly be able to monitor by hand. I am truly grateful to have found this tool & in addition to the amazing insight that Frederick Vallaeys provides not just our team but our entire industry. They truly stepped up by launching the PPC Town Hall series during the Covid Crisis, helping our industry collaborate and share ideas & information on how to navigate during these unprecedented times.
What do you dislike?
Not much that I dislike. I would say most of the challenges we have come across are large because the source tools don’t yet have the ability to pull the specific reports but this is not an issue that Optmyzr can do anything about. It is the other platform that needs to keep up.

What do you like best?
The best thing about AdEspresso is that it allows you to create ads from different platforms in one place. The creation of ads from this tool is simple and it is relatively easy to get used to each function it offers. Monitoring the ads is easy since they are organized in a single panel and visually it is easy to see the performance of each ad.
What do you dislike?
Its price is high, it does not offer high-level functions that justify its price. Outside of being able to organize each ad in a single panel, I can’t get more out of AdEspresso.
7. PPC Protect
PPC Protect is an entirely automated invalid traffic analysis solution. Other solutions are using simplistic IP analysis, statically defined rules, small-scale sampling and are harvesting invasive user data – but they aren’t working. This claims to be the first automated & privacy-centric solution to the industry’s $25bn problems. It detects click fraud & invalid traffic automatically at scale, analyses it in real-time with its self-learning algorithms, and maintains your user’s & visitors’ privacy whilst doing so.
Review: Capterra
Overall: We have significantly more ad spend to attract real customers with now that all our competitors have been blocked.
Pros: Stopped click fraud on my Google adwords account almost instantly. I had serious problems with competitors draining my budgets but now that has totally stopped. The support team are excellent at answering any queries we have and are very proactive.
Cons: The dashboard could do with a few more explanations as it wasn’t particularly clear how to use at first. However the team did walk me through it (in person no less!) which was much appreciated.
8. Optimizely
Optimizely provides the industry’s leading digital experience optimization platform including AI-powered personalization and experimentation, which encompasses A/B testing, multivariate testing, and server-side testing. It takes out the guesswork to enable brands to deliver relevant experiences driven by data.

Review: Capterra
Pros: With this tool, you can check which web page or landing page is working best, thanks to the A / B tests. This option allows you to compare two pages with their different elements. In real time, you can see which one is getting more visits and more conversions. All this without having to have programming knowledge, since you will not have to write a single code. The page that gets the most interactions and the best results will be the one chosen. A good way to guarantee more success in each of your creations.
Cons: This software is very expensive, but it is really worth its initial price, everything else is wonderful
9. iSpionage
iSpionage is a leader in Digital Marketing Intelligence that helps agencies and digital marketing professionals gain a competitive edge in the search marketing landscape. iSpionage built a robust proprietary technology from the ground up with a mission to empower agencies and search marketing professionals with best-in-class actionable intelligence to help them achieve their marketing goals.
The platform’s ease of use and its in-depth data intelligence provide search marketers with the most actionable data and competitive insights in the industry.
Review: G2
What do you like best?
iSpionage is a product that brings a lot of value to my team’s PPC research and competitive positioning activities. Compared to other products on the market, the product offers excellent features per annual user license fee and is capable of providing most of the features we use on a regular basis.
PPC Keyword Research: Excellent. Allows us to identify industry specific keywords, both mainstream and long-tail, and customize performance campaigns around that.
Budget planning: allows us to identify target budgets based on the client’s need and determine effectiveness based on available spend. This is particularly effective when planning ad campaigns in customized geographies and commerce zones.
What do you dislike?
There’s not much to dislike here. If I had to pick something, I wish the team collaboration features were a bit more robust and customizable (but that’s being very nitpicky).
Ultimately, we search for a platform where we are able to perform specific PPC research activities.
10. Opteo
Opteo continuously monitors AdWords accounts for statistically significant patterns. When something important comes up, Opteo suggests an improvement backed up by real data. Opteo also includes a set of tools to help you manage accounts, monitor performance, browse segments, track budgets, and get alerts when important changes happen.
Review: Capterra
Overall: Simply put, it’s been a great addition to our toolbox. We use it in conjunction with the Google Ads platform and often find the optimization suggestions more helpful and more honest. Google mostly wants us to add costly components to campaigns that will “increase clicks by such and such a percentage,” so they say. But because we run ads for clients, we’re constrained by budget in most cases and can’t increase them at-will.
Pros: I love that the Opteo platform provides step-by-step, well thought-out rationales for the more involved optimization suggestions. This helps us craft simple justifications for campaign changes that we can share with clients-that they’ll actually understand! Also, the visuals and stats provided with certain suggestions-like the “pause this poorly performing ad in this particular campaign or ad group” are incredibly helpful for the exact same reason. Having the numbers digested for us makes our work just that much easier.
Cons: Opteo can’t grasp context. For example, I often have to dismiss “add keyword” suggestions because the suggested keyword is outside of the context of the targeted user intent. We do recognize however that other factors could be at play here that are obviously outside Opteo’s control.
