1. Leadpages
Leadpages is a cloud-based landing page builder and lead generation solution designed for small and midsize businesses. It helps them publish landing pages, drive web traffic and capture new leads for their marketing campaigns.
Leadpages enables marketers to create mobile-responsive landing pages and pop-up boxes using customizable templates. It offers an integrated Facebook ad-builder tool to pull content from Facebook pages and create marketing ads.
Review: Capterra
Overall: For many years they were leaders and were recommended by many. They had all the good stuff that was hard to find elsewhere. But now competitors offer more or similar features for better prices. Personally I wouldn’t choose them again, but would consider as an option.
Pros: Quick to set up with ready to go templates that were tested for high conversions. It has affiliate program, so you may be able to refer someone and have it pay for itself. Includes good tutorials and internet marketing knowledge.
Cons: Leadpages stayed behind competition. A few other apps offer much more now for less price. Monthly payments are disliked by me, the pricing could be more related to traffic numbers. Even then there are solutions that offer same features for one time payment.
2. Unbounce
With Unbounce, you can avoid bottlenecks and launch campaigns fast with one of hundreds of quick-launch templates, fully customizable to match your SaaS brand.
Unbounce’s Smart Traffic is an optimization algorithm that sends visitors to the variant where they’re most likely to convert. Marketers using Smart Traffic see an average conversion rate lift of 20% (compared to an A/B test)—plus it starts optimizing in as few as 50 visits.
Review: G2
What do you like best?
Being an agency where we designing and optimize landing pages for top brands we need a robust and scalable solution. Unbounce is just that. The page builder is super flexible and customizable, and we can design pages exactly the way we want with no restrained templates, just a free canvas. That way we can focus more on creating the smoothest customer journey, and validating our hypothesis for increased conversion rates with A/B tests or using AI. Every superhero needs his cape – Unbounce is ours!
What do you dislike?
The form builder does exactly what it should do – but I would like to see staged forms natively supported. Thanks to custom scripts it can still be achieved though.
3. InsightSquared

CROs and revenue teams partner with InsightSquared to turn data gaps into opportunities—and wins. Here’s how. Using machine learning, it automatically captures, integrates and analyzes every revenue activity throughout the sales process giving you unprecedented visibility.
Review: Capterra
Overall: InsightSquared has been a very helpful solution for our sales team and management to understand what we are doing and how we can do better.
Pros: InsightSquared knows what a Sales organization cares about and provides that data in helpful ways to access reports and gain insights. For every use case of our sales team there is a report, and at this point it’s the go to solution for Managers and even Executives in case of any questions about sales activities, performance and results.
Cons: No negatives on InsightSquared, it has become a part of our sales conversation and organization.
4. Calendly
Calendly organizes appointments and meetings between businesses and clients, as well as individuals and their colleagues. It is developed to help users easily set their preferences of availability and send a personalized invitation link to arrange the appointment or meeting.
Meeting lengths of 15, 30, and 60 minutes are suggested to users who want to create an event. Also, users can set a buffer time between appointments and also enforce a scheduling notice period to prevent others from making last-minute bookings.
Calendly has an automated notification system that notifies when meetings are rescheduled.
Review: Capterra
Overall: Using Calendly and has saved me countless hours of administrative back and forth with prospects and clients alike. I have about 12 different event types in my Calendly dashboard that we use for all things from interviewing candidates to scheduling review meetings with clients for projects. Highly recommend.
Pros: It is so clean and attractive and user friendly, and I get compliments on the tool all the time from people I sent my scheduling link to. I love that it integrates seamlessly with Zoom and other meeting software so an online meeting link is auto-populated in the calendar invitations. I also love that you can customize availability for different event types, and easy toggle on and off event types you’re needing or not needing.
Cons: I don’t have any criticism of the product, mostly because I value simplicity and user experience and Calendly seems to focus on both.
5. ClinchPad

Review: G2
What do you like best?
I like the simple inter-face and the flexibility of the system
What do you dislike?
Its not very mobile friendly and can be difficult to use on a cell phone
6. Deadline Funnel
Deadline Funnel makes it easy to increase conversions and generate more sales with authentic evergreen marketing.
With Deadline Funnel you’ll persuade more people to become customers and you’ll bring in the revenue you’ll use to spread your message further.
Review: G2
What do you like best?
so i was asked to use this product for a direct response campaign and it is an interesting tool. it basically helps create urgency for products/services on an evergreen basis. there are some cool functions and being able to make products move more quickly is potentially cool.
What do you dislike?
i’ll preface this by saying the marketing tactics behind it aren’t really my cup of tea. beyond that, the customization was a bit lacking. we couldn’t figure out how to restart the timer for someone who made it to a page a second or subsequent time. the integration with other marketing automation software also wasn’t up to a level i was happy with.
7. Funnel
Funnel builds and maintains your contacts database, based on the information they provide through the contact forms.
Funnel uses Google’s service to retrieve your account information and to log you in securely. No one at Funnel can access your inbox or any other part of your Google account.
You can use your favorite email client or mobile phone to reply to your customers, instead of logging in to Funnel only to send a message.
Review: Capterra
Pros: as being a Freelancer I had to face many problems with switching multiple applications for sending quotations and proposals to my customers. Funnel CRM Brings leads and customer retention in one place.
Cons: As far now I haven’t found anything on Funnel CRM which I hate or don’t like. its really working for me what i need and the other freelancers maybe.
8. Zendesk Sell
Zendesk Sell is simple and designed to keep reps selling. Sell removes the friction from deal updates so your team can always access, analyze, and collaborate on relevant deal data.
Zendesk Sell makes it easy to keep your team focused on the highest value leads and deals without worrying about daunting administrative tasks. You can build and manage a pipeline that aligns with your business so your reps can prioritize your customers and prospects.
Review: Capterra
Overall: I think I well described it above but it was always positive. I loved connectivity through different regions with closers and it truly made scheduling easier.
Pros: We used base software when setting leads for Solar appointments. There was a really nice connectivity between me and the closers when I was using base. I love the idea that I can put notes on homes and have connectivity that I normally would not have had when we were using the paper method we used to use. I can slip appointments in between already scheduled appointments, just a solid product overall.
Cons: In relation to sales rabbit and other sales softwares, I loved the ability to see homes more clearly, I thought that was one thing I didn’t have as much with base, it was still better in other ways though that outweighed the pros that sales rabbit brought. I would take this still over any other sales appointment software and calendaring out there.
9. Instapage
Instapage is a cloud-based landing page platform designed for marketing agencies and teams in a wide range of industry verticals.
Instapage’s page editor tool allows businesses to create mobile-responsive web pages that are automatically adjusted for multiple devices with different screen resolutions. Pages can be optimized for conversions by tracking visitors’ activities and analyzing their behavior.
Review: G2
What do you like best?
I love how quickly I can put together a beautiful landing page for events webinars or any other type of promotion I can think of. I love how intuitive the interface is and a one-month trial to get me comfortable figuring everything out.
What do you dislike?
I dislike that there is no direct integration for click funnels or to add affiliate marketing programs.
10. Mixpanel
Mixpanel provides business analytics. It’s one of the top sales funnel tools that tells you how people use your products with the help of the most advanced mobile and web analytics.
With its powerful, self-serve product analytics solution, teams can easily analyze how and why people engage, convert, and retain—in real-time, across devices—to improve their user experience.
Review: Capterra
Overall: – Web analytics – Mobile Analytics – Marketing Attribution
Pros: The best part about this app is that I able to track a mobile and web user of my application under the same umbrella.
Cons: The user interface is not the best for non-analytics or non-technical users but it is better over time with the new updates.
11. Podio
Podio transforms your project data into one tool to align all content, conversations, and process into one collaboration point.
Podio’s stability (99.99% uptime last year) and intuitive interface makes deployment straightforward. And as part of Citrix, it adheres to the most rigorous security standards.
Review: Capterra
Overall: Overall, pretty good for a budget CRM. But it feels like a platform with its better days behind it.
Pros: Podio is designed for project managers, but we used it as our CRM – which shows how flexible it is. It worked well, the UI is nice, the workflows save you a lot of time and you can link up items well for automation (e.g. if you close a deal, mark the associated company item as ‘customer’). The reporting worked quite well too. You can pull data into reports and create nice dashboards. And you can export to Excel.
Cons: Citrix aren’t investing in Podio – it looks the same as when we started using it years ago. It’s also increasingly unreliable – there have been numerous all-day outages in 2018. This is frustrating when you depend on Podio to run your business. We have since moved onto a different CRM software because of these issues.
12. Slingshot
Slingshot is a software and app development company specializing in taking your vision from idea to launch. Its unique 4-step process puts an empathetic focus on the user, allowing its strategists, designers, and developers to personalize the app specifically for your business.
Review: G2
What do you like best?
Slingshot does a great job of listening and being honest about what would be the most helpful solutions to our specific challenges. It was really fun working with their team. They are very talented and brilliant at what they do, yet also community-minded and very down to earth. Their team even came out one day to volunteer their time with us in the community. They are a real pleasure to work with. I loved that they did in-depth research on all aspects of our mobile app, making sure we were getting the most up to date designs.
What do you dislike?
I did not see any downsides to working with Slingshot and there was nothing to dislike.
13. Spiro
Spiro works in the background to eliminate data entry and capture next steps. It provides full visibility into your pipeline and assigns deal engagement scores to improve accuracy.
Spiro intelligently recognizes anomalies in your pipeline and proactively recommends next steps.
Spiro provides unrivaled visibility into your team’s activities to focus your coaching on the right opportunities.
Review: Capterra
Overall: My company has seen an uptake in overall customer interaction and collaboration between sales personnel. It has been a great place to come together on projects with multiple departments being able to utilize easy to access customer information.
Pros: This has been one of the best CRM experiences that I have had. I have used several others, but this was a breeze to use, the phone app is fantastic, integration with corporate email was simple: just everything really.
Cons: We have had some cases where we needed some more functionality. However, Spiro was eager to address our concerns and has really come through on our requests.
14. Sumo
Sumo is a powerful tool that helps ecommerce businesses in growing their email lists, increasing conversions, and generating more sales. With Sumo Shortcuts, ecommerce store owners are able to set-and-forget proven marketing strategies in three minutes or less.
Review: G2
What do you like best?
Its ease of use turns out to be something quite impressive to carry out all kinds of activities in a fairly simple way, the fact that I can configure and create my email marketing campaigns in a fairly fast, simple and easy way has turned out to be a tool The design of these strategies is of great help and support to carry out my tasks in a much more practical way, not to mention the fact that it has helped us when we want to increase traffic to our website and the number of clients of our e -Commerce in a much faster way, the amount of templates it has is really impressive, in fact all the templates are quite attractive visually speaking, this has been helping us to turn our emails into more elegant and attractive documents for our clients. pretty simple way.
What do you dislike?
To start using it for the first time, everything is quite complex and complicated, however once you get used to it all this happens, although if I consider that they should find a way to reduce and make the learning curve less complex, I don’t have the rest no other complaints about this app.
15. ActiveCampaign
ActiveCampaign gives you the email marketing, marketing automation, and CRM tools you need to create incredible customer experiences.
ActiveCampaign’s Customer Success Commitment is a set of promises for you. Across value, service, and trust, these 17 promises (unique in the industry) guarantee that you’ll always be able to get what you need, when you need it. You won’t find an offer like this anywhere else.
Review: Software Advice
The overall experience has been phenomenal. I imported my database and had everything set up and running in a day. The customer support team is knowledgeable and super friendly.
Pros
ActiveCampaign is the CRM I wish I would have chosen back in 2012 when I went with Infusionsoft. I love the automations. They are intuitive to build, easy to manage, and they flat out work. I love two way SMS via the deep integration with SalesMsg and that the convos get added to the contact record. And finally, I love the Deals feature which is the best and easily customizable sales pipeline software I’ve ever used.
Cons
One tiny thing I’d change is the contact merge feature. I prefer the ability to choose what fields to merge in a contact record instead of being forced to delete one.
16. Bizible
Turn up your demand marketing strategy using the most complete and unrivaled demand marketing solution. Take advantage of Bizible’s native integrations with Marketo Engage, Adobe Analytics, and more to deliver world-class customer experiences and drive business growth.
Review: G2
What do you like best?
Bizible provides the framework to build an effective marketing attribution model. For our company, with a 1 person Marketing Operations group and no access to an internal data science or analyst resource, Bizible has been instrumental in providing a sophisticated multi-touch attribution model without having to build from scratch.
What do you dislike?
There are some limitations: incorporating cost has to be piped in from ad platforms (Bizible does have a couple of direct integrations to pull cost but not all, i.e. RollWorks), but the rest has to be input manually. For that reason we have been unable to get true ROI reporting in the platform and run that analysis separately. We also experience some minor data loss for web users that have cookies disabled. bizible’s javascript doesn’t capture the source attribution for 100% of web touches.
17. ClickFunnels
ClickFunnels was created so that entrepreneurs like you, who aren’t programmers and who don’t know how to code, can easily build beautiful pages inside of a sales funnel, to grow your company online.
Generate New LEADS That You Can Connect With… Create simple funnels that quickly capture your visitors’ contact information, so you can generate new leads to follow-up with again and again, even after they leave your page!
ClickFunnels to run your company, we also know that some of you have your own favorite tools you’ve used in the past, so we integrate with most of the top service providers to make your funnel building process even more fun!
Review: Capterra
Overall: Since starting to use Clickfunnels, I have learned exactly who I help, why I help them, what they can learn, and how they can get it; if you think you can help everyone, you will fail. I don’t want to build another website without Clickfunnels; it’s that easy and looks great! I’m disabled and the customer service doesn’t make me feel stupid when I get confused and ask questions.
Pros: Honestly, this is the best software and automation I have ever seen for building an online presence and helping connect people with the right services and products for them instead of and endless page of options that don’t really help. There are great resources for understanding how to be the best you and overdeliver to your community and customer base, If you are willing to put in effort to improve yourself and how you communicate.
Cons: Some of the integrations, like with MX records and CRM, confuse me trying to read through the Q&A. There is a learning curve to understanding how to do anything. I am epileptic and would be lost if I didn’t do the One Funnel Away Challenge to learn about functions and features. That really isn’t a bad thing. Some Videos would be easier on my Ready Epilepsy; but I still make it work.
18. Contactually
Relationships are your most important asset. It combines the best data-driven business tools so you can nurture those relationships by working smart, automating where appropriate, but always communicating in your own voice.
Technology doesn’t replace the human element—it enhances it so you can spend more time being authentic with the right people.
Review: Software Advice
Contactually Concierge Service
We are still relatively new to the service (just over one year). Caroline has made a major difference in making Contactually integrate with our other systems.
Pros
Caroline Long is our representative. We were a client of Contactually when they offered their new Concierge Service. We signed up immediately as it was just what we needed. We were not fully using the tools within Contactually when Caroline was assigned to our account. We are very happy with her work and would recommend her and this service for other Contactually accounts.
Cons
We need texting within Contactually. We can only cut and paste presently to record these interactions.
19. Hotjar
Hotjar is a cloud-based customer experience management platform designed to help small to large businesses track and analyze visitor’s click, tap or scrolling actions across the website using heatmaps.
The solution allows employees to replay sessions, add tags to recordings, prepare notes, and share them with team members. Marketers can set up custom behavioral triggers while creating surveys, launch them on the site or send invitation links to consumers and collect feedback.
Review: G2
What do you like best?
It’s a great tool, especially for its pricing.
It is an excellent complement to Google Analytics and Adobe Analytics. Even at its lowerest rates, it has a lot of potentials.
What do you dislike?
Two main things:
1) They took out the form analytics tool, which was helpful. Also, heatmaps aren’t interactive, which nowadays, with a lot of menus, is something really important.
2) It doesn’t have filters as powerful as other tools (such as the ability to filter by clicked element). Yes, you can do it with tags, but it always requires some coding.
20. Keap
Keap’s CRM and sales and marketing platform was built to help you dramatically grow your sales and save time by eliminating business chaos.
Keap (formerly Infusionsoft) is a cloud-based sales and marketing solution that offers customer relationship management (CRM), marketing automation, and e-commerce functionalities in one suite.
Users can segment contacts, track customer interactions, send emails, as well as run campaigns with personalized communication triggers based on emails opened, clicks, and more.
Review: G2
What do you like best?
It is so solid. I’ve used other programs that are “just like Keap only better”, but the problem is, they’re not – they break, automations fail, I have to creat patches and fixes to keep the other software running. With Keap, I don’t. It works. It runs. It doesn’t break. It is so robust.
You can do so much with Keap. You can automate and systematize so much. I can multiply results of my marketing and sales and client fulfillment, and generate much more revenue while keeping clients happy. I love systems, everything I do is about building systems, and Keap is by far the best platform I’ve used (and I’ve used a lot of them on various projects). All new programs I’ve standardized with Keap. I don’t want to work with other platforms because I don’t like to have to fix things. I want campaigns, blasts, automations, memberships, to all run flawlessly, and I get that with Keap.
What do you dislike?
It takes a mindset change to go from crazy mode to creating systems that do all the hard work. This can take some time to get used to.
