Overall: Extremely positive experience and visible results

Pros: Talkable team helped with every stage of campaign launch and A/B test every step of the program. It turned word of mouth into an efficient channel for our business. Much more advanced than what I’ve seen or heard about in rewards marketing so far.

Cons: Tallkable is not the easiest martech software we used, plus we had some issues with integration with our transaction system. However, it all worth it – the uplift in sales we get and the quality of traffic are great.

Overall: It’s great software. I used it 15 years ago and it’s only gotten better. No fluff, just the features you want and need that other software charges unreasonable amounts for.

Pros: The ability to have dynamic affiliate links generated on the fly via their email address. For example, I don’t need to manually create affiliate or customer accounts to have them send traffic and be credited. I can simply append the end of my URL with their email or a unique identifier and it generates their affiliate account which I can approve or disapprove into a specific commission group (or no commission group for customer bonuses).

Cons: The purchase pixel wasn’t hard to implement but it took slightly longer as I didn’t know PHP very well.

What do you like best?

Very clear what you can and cannot do, Very straightforward what you can customize. The few choices actually make the process less confusing than it could be.

What do you dislike?

The placement is not customizable, you can’t move around or customize the templates, its very rigid. As a designer, I find it incredibly stifling not being able to even move sections of the template around.

Pros: The software is easy to use and has a campaign up and running in a few minutes. Once you start generating referrals, you can manage and monitor them easily, and track your growth through a visual dashboard.

Cons: The software fulfiled all of our campaign needs, but sadly there’s no ability to pay a reward to qualifying referrals. Perhaps this is a product feature for the future.

What do you like best?

We haven’t touched the surface with what we can do with the platform. Our annual reviews are thorough, supported by data and recommendations

What do you dislike?

I would like to have quarterly reviews to make sure we’re actioning on the recommendations. I also consider extole a partnership and not just a vendor or platform. I would like to have roadmap brainstorms with the extole team.

Cons: I can’t say there is anything that I dislike. I think I still need to learn how to use the analytics dashboard a bit more, but that’s more about me taking the time and less about Advocately.

The customer service management received is second to none, from integration to A/B testing they are always on hand and go over and above. The platform is really intuitive and easy to use for insights and sharing with the wider business.

What do you dislike?

Additional tech support would be useful in some cases – we do not have a large in-house tech team and some of the integration guides weren’t too easy to follow

Overall: I looked high and low for a solution. We were very clear, we did not want an “affiliate” program that required us to pay out “commissions” but rather, “prizes” and bonuses for referrals. We also needed something that would seamlessly work with our multiple platforms. When I found Genius Referrals–it was all I could hope for and MORE. Now that I’m a customer, we’re actually looking to move our affiliate program to this platform because Genius Referrals offers BOTH. The dashboard is fairly easy to navigate and what might feel perplexing is QUICKLY addressed by Genius Referral’s expert support. Very thorough, very helpful and friendly. FREE Trial (at the time of this review) Easy to navigate and exceptional customer service for the things that aren’t self evident VERY flexible and customizable SEVERAL options for campaigns and integrations into existing systems or programs AFFORDABLE– most affordable on the market next to the competition UI (user interface) is great… very updated feel and look

Cons: Does require a little bit of understanding of code and scripts (nothing a little customer service and a nice cut and paste doesn’t solve) Fulfillment is manual – which makes sense for physical products. Would be nice to have automation for delivery of digital products
